Matthew C. Jacobson, President & CEO

Matt Jacobson was appointed President and CEO of Maine & Company in January 2006. Prior to joining Maine & Company, Matt was most recently Assistant Vice President, Sales and Marketing, Canadian National Railways. In his role at CN, Matt was responsible for International and North America Intermodal sales and marketing, and a revenue budget of $1.1 billion.
From 1996 -2000 Matt was President and COO of the St. Lawrence & Atlantic Railroad, headquartered in Auburn, Maine. During his 4-year tenure, the railroad tripled its revenue and attracted 23 new businesses to its line. Matt was featured in the Wall Street Journal, and the St. Lawrence was named North America’s best Shortline Railroad by Railway Age Magazine.

Matt is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy and holds an MBA from Chapman University. He was a pilot in the US Air Force, serving in Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Matt has over 3000 hours of flight time, primarily in command of the C-130 Hercules.

Peter J. DelGreco, Director of Client Services

Peter DelGreco has been Maine & Company’s Director of Client Services since February 2004. Prior to joining Maine & Company, Peter worked in Washington, DC as an independent sales and marketing consultant for several firms in the DC area, and, prior to that, as operations manager and sales representative for a large food products company. Peter is a graduate of Colby College and received his MBA from the University of Southern Maine in 2004.

Gail H. Pfeifle, Executive Assistant

Gail Pfeifle is a life-long New Englander who has been with Maine & Company since 1997. A graduate of the University of Vermont, Gail worked for a non-profit organization in Massachusetts before coming to Maine.
